Chloe Villamayor is a composer, performer, and technologist based in Los Angeles. She holds a B.M. in Composition from the University of Southern California, where she is currently pursuing her M.M. in Composition.
Her work blends experimental vocals, extended violin techniques, and interactive technology to explore identity, embodiment, and sound. Chloe wrote, produced, sang, and performed in her debut solo album, Is it Mine? If my name was ___, is it mine?, and co-composed the score for Rochelles, a short film by Bigi Jackson.
With over ten years of experience as a violinist, Chloe’s practice extends into motion-tracking and gesture recognition with Max MSP, audio processing, and LED programming, merging human performance with digital systems. She also works across composition, orchestration, voiceover, and production, creating immersive, boundary-crossing sonic experiences.
