Having graduated from Houston Christian University and Emory University, I have earned my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. My extensive editing experience comes from work I’ve done on books, academic essays, blogs, and RFQs. I am self-motivated, shown in setting up my own website and mailing list, as well as researching, writing, and editing blogs. I have honed my writing and editing abilities through hands-on experience in my own editing business, a book editing and publishing internship, and a marketing internship. Additionally, I have had educational experiences including online courses in editing and graduate-level classes in creative writing. I've also published a poetry chapbook called "Dappled Leaves & Dust." I’ve continued to further my education by taking the Editorial Freelancers Association’s Proofreading and Copyediting with the Chicago Manual of Style and Poynter’s Cleaning Your Copy courses.
