Hi, I’m Jivan Pal, a highly experienced DevOps, software, networking, and systems reliability engineer (SRE). I’m a Linux sysadmin and full-stack developer with hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies. I excel in building scalable, secure, production-grade systems in cloud and on-prem environments, with proven skills in containerization, automation, CI/CD, observability, and networking. I’ve led migrations, built robust infrastructure, and mentored others, all while focusing on pragmatic, business-minded solutions. Since mid-2023 I’ve been on a sabbatical focused on family, personal projects, and running a homelab, including a K3s cluster and a production-grade web stack, with IPv6-only networking and 3-2-1 backups.
