I am a lifelong singer songwriter with a previous background in acting which I majored in throughout High school and expected to take on in further education but had a surprising twist of path when I found my voice through being in an abusive relationship which was part of the healing process and then I began college on a music course and was told I had great stage presence and a belting blues voice. I have been told I have a very distinctive and saleable voice and even had offers to buy it for samples in the past which I have turned down although I have had an interest in voice over work for some time. I have had to slow down considerably in recent years due to health issues so I have lots of time on my hands these days and this kind of remote role would better suit me now. I am very creative but can follow instructions to a T. I have a good ear and learn fast. I also have a hatred for fake and annoying sounds. I strive in my own music for real and often use dialect and spoken words as well as natural laughter samples taken from moments in studio sessions etc. This is the first time I performed this piece I wrote at an open mic, my first time doing live spoken word since school._Website not available. I went in with just a vocal hook idea and came out with a track... The second one is a track someone made and asked me to write a vocal for it. This is what I could hear. The lyrics kind of write themselves I feel... Lastly this is my debut single and music video which I self financed on a very low budget and a lot of good will from people who had a lot of faith in me and liked what I was doing...
