Collaborated on a team of 30+ members and a 5 person engineering team on a year-long project. Partnered closely with the design team to prototype and craft new obstacle features in a 2D puzzle platformer such as portals. Troubleshot day-to-day problems and resolved over 50 bugs. Operated under one-week sprints using Linear to track current tasks.
Game Developer at Deep Containment

Designed and programmed a single player horror game as a solo 13 week summer project. Introduced fish AI for a realistic underwater environment and enemy AI for two enemy types. Implemented procedurally generated modular hallways with 4 module types and A* search algorithm to ensure valid paths. Constructed player peeking mechanic and leech attacks with raycasting to create dynamic tension every 10 seconds in darkness.

Collaborated on a two-person team during a 15-week development cycle for CTIN 489, coordinating audio assets with Berklee College of Music. Formulated and coded seamless looping escalator mechanic scripts with another engineer. Implemented item pickup and tracking for 4 item types. Designed and optimized in-game environments and animations for 3 levels. Added seamless level transitioning and multi-scene loading/unloading for multiple levels. Optimized performance and capped game size at 5 GB without frame drops using numerous assets. Utilized a burndown chart, game design macro, and schedule to maintain progress in 2 week sprints.

Led one committee within a large team comprising four committees (mechanical, programming, electrical, design). Managed projects for robot subsystems collaborating across all committees. Programmed Limelight vision system in Python for two separate robots. Developed robot subsystems such as arm, chassis, and intake in C++. Used Git and Gitkracken for version control and Slack for communication during 6 week build seasons.
