uniE621 Therapist Brand & Website Redesign
I partnered with Ángela Teruel, a psychologist based in Spain, to completely reimagine her digital presence. The goal was to design a brand and website that felt as welcoming, bright, and grounded as the care she provides to her patients. Unlike most therapist websites in Spain, which often lean clinical or outdated, I saw this project as an opportunity to differentiate her through warmth, clarity, and visual storytelling that reflects her values and energy. This was a full-scope project from brand identity to final deployment: • Crafted a new logo and visual identity that emphasized emotional safety, calm, and connection. • Built a design system with a fresh color palette, custom typography, and iconography to reflect her natural, grounded approach. • Created hand-drawn illustrations and bespoke button icons to bring personality and softness to the UI, avoiding generic templates. • Developed micro-interactions and hover states that subtly guide the user while enhancing a sense of care and flow. • Designed the full website layout in Figma with a focus on empathy-driven UX. • Mapped user journeys (especially first-time clients) to reduce anxiety and create a clear, supportive path from homepage to booking. • Applied accessible design practices to ensure readability, contrast, and mobile responsiveness. • Developed and launched the site on WordPress, customizing the backend for easy edits. • Set up and optimized her SEO through keyword research, metadata creation, and performance tuning using Yoast SEO. • Ensured fast load times, structured data, and responsive behavior across devices. Differentiation: Ángela’s site now stands out in a saturated market of similar-looking therapist pages. Visitors immediately feel a sense of trust and emotional connection, which has increased her direct booking inquiries. Within the first month of launch, Ángela reported an uptick in new clients who mentioned the website as a deciding factor. This wasn’t just a portfolio piece, it was an exercise in emotional UX and intentional design. I pushed my limits to ensure that every element, from illustration to layout, reinforced an atmosphere where future clients could feel at ease the moment they landed on her site. For me, design is most powerful when it’s used to build trust, and that’s exactly what I aimed to achieve here. This project also highlights my strength in handling end-to-end design (from strategy and visuals to development and SEO), and my ability to translate a person’s unique energy and values into a compelling digital experience.
    uniE621 Cooltura Futura Festival
I developed a full visual identity for Cooltura Futura, a two weekend festival in Madrid celebrating anti-racism, community and cultural expression. My mission was to translate the festival’s mission into a cohesive, high-impact design system that would work across print, digital and merchandise. • Conducted a 2-week discovery with organizers to clarify festival values and audience. • Iterated 3 initial logo concepts in Illustrator, refining toward a final mark that balances boldness with approachability. • Defined a 4-color palette optimized for legibility on print and screens. • Produced a library of 15 vector illustrations (people, instruments, symbols) to be used across posters, social assets and merch. • Ensured each illustration could be isolated, recolored or combined for flexible layouts. • Designed two poster formats (A3, A4) and a rack card, each incorporating hierarchy for lineup, dates and sponsors. • Prepared print-ready files with spot-color separations and bleeds to streamline production with local printers. Social Media Templates • Built 8 modular templates in Figma for Instagram Stories, feed posts and Facebook events, enabling SOS Racismo’s team to update lineup and call-to-action copy without design support. • Created style-guide documentation on typography, spacing, and exporting assets. Merchandise Design • Developed graphics for bucket hats, emanel pins, mini mirrors, and phone holders using masked typography and layered illustrations to echo the festival’s core messages. • Delivered mockups and tech specs for bulk production—factoring in garment color limitations and print methods. Provided in-tool documentation and editable templates so internal teams could adapt assets in-house. This project sits at the intersection of my design practice and my activism. By giving SOS Racismo a robust toolkit to communicate anti-racist messages with visual clarity, I helped expand public imagination of a more inclusive Madride, exactly the kind of change I’m committed to driving both on screen and in society.
