Children's book illustration

Hi! I am really excited to share a very fun, playful children’s book that I worked on. I designed this book using Adobe Illustrator, I am a procreate fan so the process turned out to be a bit different but still really fun. My focus was still to give my work a hand drawn effect so I decide to add extra brush stroke effect to my illustrations. I focus a lot on originality so, I start my process with research and sketch work, where I design my characters, layout my scenes and work on story boarding. Then I move towards the colour phase where I decide my colour palette for the illustration, I move towards the illustration phase, then add the extra details for final editing.
