Hi, I’m Marian Bucur, a Senior WordPress and WooCommerce developer with 19+ years of experience in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, and long-running web applications. I’ve spent most of my recent work on custom WordPress plugins, REST APIs, commerce and account workflows, integrations, performance work, and production support. I excel at delivering features beyond basic site setup and I enjoy clarifying platform scope, mapping practical implementation steps, building robust functionality, testing across environments, and keeping the codebase maintainable. I work well with stakeholders when requirements are still being shaped, helping define scope and practical steps to implement, test, and maintain the result. I’ve worked remotely for many years in client-facing settings and am comfortable owning contract-based delivery with clear communication and reliable post-launch support.

    paper DXM Block Audit

DXM Block Audit is a WordPress tooling project for auditing block-based site structures across large WordPress sites.

The project helps inspect how blocks, reusable patterns, template parts, navigations, and related site-building structures are used across a WordPress installation. It is useful when teams need to understand an existing site, plan Gutenberg or block-editor changes, debug content behavior, or reduce risk before migrations and larger updates.

I worked on the plugin architecture, data model, indexing approach, and WP-CLI-oriented audit workflows. A key part of the work was making the output predictable and useful for real engineering decisions, not just collecting raw data.

This project shows how I approach WordPress work: understand the existing system, build practical tooling around it, keep behavior deterministic, and make complex site structures easier to reason about.
