    London based singer-songwriter martina released her debut single “cloud nine” available everywhere on the 24th of June.

    The Italian native takes a slightly subculture of Trap and R&B into the world of mainstream Pop, adding dreamy soundscapes to craft her own brand of uplifting, chill Pop.

    The debut single, co-produced with Jordan Elgie, combines intimate vocals and evocative and introspective lyrics with tentative optimism. cloud nine is a melancholic yet hopeful composition that celebrates the feeling of grief and therefore the process of losing someone within your circle. The instrumentation reflects the intimacy of the song, as it’s quite minimal in the production being the lyrics and the emotion the main focus. The tune is a contemporary fusion of martina’s diverse music influences and resonances as she is a big fan of cross-pollination between different genres.
