I create whimsical, cartoony characters shaped by fantasy, bold color, and geometric stylization. Centered on portraits and self-portraits, my work explores identity and individuality through exaggerated, rounded forms that balance humor, vulnerability, and emotional nuance. Influenced by children’s animation as well as psychology, philosophy, and moral inquiry, I approach each character as a study of how people think, cope, and carry their inner worlds. My goal is to design characters that feel approachable and relatable, particularly for children, teens and young adults navigating complex emotional experiences. Through diverse shapes, tones, and personalities, I aim to reflect the wide range of human niches that are not often marginalized on broadcast platforms and affirm that every perspective and feeling has a place.
