I'm a musician who specialises in orchestration, transcription, composition and arranging from the UK. To date, I have worked on twelve feature films, primarily as an orchestrator but also as a composer of additional music. I work quickly and reliably producing professional scores and parts that are clear, neat and idiomatic for musicians in a time-critical studio setting. Sibelius is my go-to notation package (I'm very fast with it), but I can also work in Dorico, albeit at a slower pace. I have a strong ear and can transcribe/dictate music accurately. This includes orchestral, instrumental and vocal music in a variety of genres. I have a home studio in which I can produce convincing and professional orchestral/instrumental mock-ups, using libraries from the likes of VSL, Spitfire Audio, Orchestral Tools, EastWest, ProjectSAM, 8dio and many more. **Employment and project experience** Currently working on a large transcription and mocking-up project, which involves transcribing and reproducing a large number of short full orchestral works by ear. Lead orchestrator for George Kallis’s score for Lev Yashin: The Dream Goalkeeper, directed by Vasiliy Chiginskiy. uniE603 Rising from the Dust
Rising from the Dust is a powerful song that blends a classic soul groove with a modern message of resilience. Infused with the unmistakable energy of 70’s Stevie Wonder, the track is brought to life by an international collective of world-class musicians (from Musiversal) who contributed their talent from across the globe. Ben Botfield sings the lead vocal with Michael himself on piano and clavinet.
    uniE603 Desert Winds
Desert Winds is a track I composed and produced, inspired by the music of Studio Ghibli. Otherwise performed by a group of fantastic musicians from around the world.
    uniE608 Five a Day
Five a Day is a jazz/funk track I composed, produced and on which I performed piano and electric piano. It has musical influences from the likes of Snarky Puppy, featuring an ostinato in contrary motion on the alto and tenor saxophones throughout, with a virtuosic lead guitar solo played by the formidable Vitaliy Tkachuk. The track has a strong groove in 5/4. All the other parts were recorded remotely, featuring some of the fantastic musicians from the Musiversal roster in the USA, Ukraine and Brazil.

The vast majority of the percussive parts were "played" on everyday objects such as a box of tissues, a fan, stapler, yoghurt pot, wallet, can of deodorant, bunch of keys and an almost-empty carton of milk.
