Engineered full-stack applications using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript with strict type safety and schema validation. Built and launched a complete booking system using Laravel, Inertia.js, and Vue.js (https://book.gritspace.co.za). Developed the backend with Laravel routes/controllers, migrations, and Eloquent ORM, including validation and activity tracking. Implemented responsive frontend pages with Vue.js and Inertia.js. Improved speed and stability by refactoring middleware, optimizing database queries, and adding caching where needed. Applied security best practices (authentication, authorization, CSRF protection). Managed the full lifecycle: planning, development, testing, monitoring, deployment, and ongoing improvements. Integrated booking, invoicing, and user management features to support business operations.

Built and optimized custom Drupal modules and themes for clients, including Solr search integration. Worked on the SA20 website using Next.js, TypeScript, and Supabase to improve performance and SEO. Developed the Nando’s coupon system using Vue.js, TypeScript, and Firebase. Delivered releases in agile teams using Docker, Git, and Jira. Collaborated with DevOps teams on deployment workflows and application delivery processes.
