On the "no, no, no, no," I go up into chest voice, and I transition down into mixed head voice. The second verse begins with, "Sleep, don't come easy, boy, please believe me," which I sing in mixed head voice, letting the voice settle. The emotional depth: "Why you had to say goodbye? Look what you have done to me." I lean into head voice, and I weave in mix to add texture as I shift into a breathy, soft mixed chest voice.
