Hi, I’m Nicol River. I’m a passionate director, educator, musician, and composer based in London. I founded River Music School London in 2020, an award-winning private music tuition service. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of performing as a touring vocalist and musician across Europe and working as a tutor mentoring students in piano, singing, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, and music theory. I also founded the Young Cats Jazz Workshop at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, which has been a fantastic way to nurture young talent.
Besides performing and teaching, I have a strong commitment to education and governance, serving as a governor at the Wandle Learning Trust. Creating music and inspiring others through education are what drive me every day. Whether it’s managing my own company or performing at prestigious venues, I always bring enthusiasm and determination to everything I do.
