The Bible, Our Bibles (Historical Documentary Trailer)

I was selected to write and direct a multi-part series to be produced in China, India, and the United Kingdom in 2024. The project explores the arrival of the Bible in China beginning in the seventh century AD. It will be delivered in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and will include stories of unsung heroes - the Chinese scholars who risked their lives to help Protestant and Catholic missionaries hell-bent on localizing what’s been called the “greatest book ever written”.

The first task was to create fundraising tools for the development team.

Our small crew worked on an incredibly limited budget for several weeks with Bible scholars from North America and China to frame this enormous undertaking. Principal photography is slated for Spring of 2024.
