Optin “Tin” Akrami is an artistic & creative producer who like to do anything related to animation and filmmaking which includes music composition, songwriting, storytelling, creative writing and scriptwriting. He was born in Denver, Colorado where he grew up with a family that immigrated from Iran. He grew up watching animated films and musicals such as How To Train Your Dragon, Castle in the Sky and Les Misérables. Tin also enjoyed creating new stories as well as designing new worlds, where they are based on his experience and places that he visited the most. Tin was accepted to the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver with a full scholarship where he studied Music with the minor of Film Media Journalism Studies. After graduating, Tin attended Berklee Online for a Songwriting Professional Certificate as well as the Hollywood Music Workshop where he studied Orchestration with Conrad Pope and Nan Schwartz and the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program with Hummie Mann. Tin also attended a masterclass in Film Scoring with Thomas Newman up in Pepperdine University. Right now, Tin is finishing a certificate for Independent Music Production at the UCLA Extension Program. Tin has composed music for several genres including Fantasy, Comedy-Drama, Romance and Animation. In his music, Tin advocates for the importance of growing up and taking responsibility despite your differences and learning styles. Tin is always creating stories and new worlds that are born from his imagination and his daily life. Tin also enjoys storyboarding his ideas with information like the characters, locations, species, politics, education and so on.
