    uniE621 Cleanline Surf's Custom Inventory Management / Point Of Sale System
    I began working on this in 2014 and launched it in 2016. It has many features that automate transfering products between Cleanline Surf’s 3 locations. When an order is placed on our e-commerce store, it automatically creates transfer requests to get the products where they need to be to fulfill an order. When staff scans the barcode of a product in the transfer requests section it prints out a tag with all the info about the order and where the product needs to go. This greatly reduced mis-shipped orders. The backend of the IMS was built in Go which communicates with the SPA frontend over web sockets, allowing the clients to always have fresh product data.…

    I was hired to help migrate Bob Red Mill's Magento 1 site to Magento 2. The goal was to make the Magento 2 store identical to their Magento 1 site wherever possible. For those that don't know, Magento 2's code base shares almost nothing in common with Magento 1 and needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. I handled recreating the front-end theme, recreating custom extensions and coupon handling as well as integrating their blog and custom Vue.js recipes app. I also created a custom Vue.js/Laravel app that managed the printing and mailing of promotional coupons. The version of their site I built was active from 2019 to January 2025. I'm honestly surprised it stuck around that long, as they stopped selling direct in August of 2022.…
