Graphic Designer is needed in Columbus, United States.

The Senior Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing Department. Main responsibilities are providing graphic design support to the Marketing team creating new and/or modifying existing design work across a broad range of platforms for marketing campaigns, store merchandising, social media and assisting with the overall design and production of other relative projects. This position is part-time (3 days/week as needed) with potential for additional hours.

Primary Responsibilities

• Layout and design support of marketing communication materials including print and digital collateral to include, but not limited to: advertisements, flyers, in-store merchandising, presentations and other relevant brand and marketing materials.
• Establish and maintain consistent brand integrity in all materials.
• Basic image retouching/photo manipulation.
• Assist in maintenance of photography assets and related content.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related course of study.
• Minimum 2-4 years of related professional experience.
• Experience proven by portfolio showing a range of professional work.
• Proficient in Adobe CS/CC (Illustrator and Photoshop especially) as well as familiarity in Microsoft products (Word and PowerPoint).
• Ability to understand and follow art direction to successfully create and complete projects, delivering high-quality work.
• Be owner of assigned projects and work with minimal oversight.
• Receptive to feedback and desire to ‘make it right’.
• General knowledge and understanding of print production and digital fundamentals.
• Ability to prepare files for print production with proficiency and free of output issues.
• Ability to prepare web/digital media for optimum online usability.
• Excellent written, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deal with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Plus, but not required

• Knowledge of video editing/creating simple animations for use on social platforms/web
• Light Copywriting
• Experience in photography (lifestyle imagery)
