Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer is needed in Littleton, United States.

The Freelance Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualization and implementation of omni channel design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion. This Designer will need to have experience working in catalog production environment and the ability to establish catalog conventions and design elements as well as up to date retail advertising and signage. The candidate must demonstrate a level of proficiency in design, and software applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with asset management systems. It is essential to have knowledge of printing, photography, illustration, verbal and written communication. This position requires someone who can work well with a team under tight deadlines with minimal supervision exhibiting flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides and recommends conceptualdirection, templates and conventions, for all assigned projects.
• Designs and produces annual and salecatalogs, inserts, retail signage and POP, email and web support.
• Communicates ideas with team memberson upcoming catalogs, photo shoots, concepts and projects.
• Processes vendor art, studio art, andlocation photography.
• Creates and uploads finalized PDFfiles for each catalog according to the printer’s specifications.
• Approves color Epson proofs to ensurecontent accuracy prior to press approval.
• Approves dbl online prior to pressapproval.
• Helps to maintains image resourcefiles and database.
• May attend location shoots providingart direction to capture the concepts that have been created to convey thebrand and product message.
• Works with studio photographer toensure that studio concepts are met through art and styling direction.
• Maintainssoftware knowledge and seeks out new creative materials
• Maybe called upon to go on press check approvals.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experiencein graphic design.
• Catalog experiencerequired.
• Proven success infast-paced, business to consumer, retail and catalog business
• Photography directionexperience in studio and on location
• Proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite - which is InDesign,Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
• Equestrian experiencestrongly preferred
• Adeptin presenting complex concepts in a simple, relatable way with the ability toreceive and implement feedback openly.
• Understandingof company branding with ability to create concepts, comps, layouts and finalart.
• Aknowledge of methods and techniques of graphic design and layout. A cleandesign esthetic and advanced typography skills.
• Highlevel communication skills and ability to work with a team.
