Jr Graphic Designer
Graphic Designer is needed in Durham, United States.
Vert & Vogue is seeking a freelance Junior Graphic Designer to assist with its digital and occasional print production. We anticipate this position to take on 5-10 hrs of design work per month, assisting with or at times filling in for our Senior Designer. We are seeking someone to work remotely, but is available to meet on-site in our downtown Durham office on occasion.
THE POSITION
Primary responsibilities are producing digital content for events, newsletters, and social media as instructed by our Creative Director. The ideal candidate will work on an as-needed basis to start. The highest workload would likely be 10/hrs a month.
YOUR CRED
You have a college degree in visual/graphic design or are pursuing a degree. You have completed an internship in your field or have at least 6 months of equivalent experience. Your portfolio shows your knowledge of digital production. Knowing your way around a basic photography studio is a plus, but not required. Software requirements: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom), Dropbox, and Asana (or similar collaborative remote teamwork platform).

COMPENSATION
- $18/hour, paid monthly.
