Web Designer wanted to join Loft Labs - a venture-backed tech startup in hyper growth phase.
Their commercial product Loft helps platform teams create a self-service system for virtual Kubernetes clusters using vcluster technology. This has two major benefits: 1) It creates autonomy for developers and allows companies to build high-velocity engineering teams; and 2) It improves efficiency for running cloud native applications which can save over 70% of cloud computing cost for customers.
They are generating revenue and growing extremely fast with a customer base that includes some of the biggest companies in the world (car manufacturers, Fortune 100 financial institutions) and some of the fastest growing tech unicorns.
Working on developer tools and open-source technology is part of their DNA. They are the maintainers of several popular open-source projects in the Kubernetes space:
vcluster - Virtual Kubernetes Clusters(certified Kubernetes distribution) / +10 Million Virtual Clusters Created Per Year
DevSpace - Docker-Compose But For Kubernetes / +1 Million Downloads
kiosk - Multi-Tenancy Extension for Kubernetes (recommended by AWS as security best practice for EKS)
jsPolicy - Kubernetes Policies using JavaScript & TypeScript
Their technology is used by companies such as Adobe, VMware, Gusto, Outreach, Codefresh, and many others.
Responsibilities:Design systems focused, engaging and craft consistent web experiences
Collaborate with the marketing team, animation designer, product designer and head of design to concept, design and iterate on website projects. Use strategic thinking to tackle complex problems and deliver impact
Build and maintain all websites on webflow
Requirements:A strong portfolio of visual and web design work living in production
Proficient in building responsive websites on Webflow
Attention to detail and a good sense of design
Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop and Illustrator)
Good understanding of creating and/or following a grid system and design guideline.Experience working with design systems
Able to conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and efficiency to complex problems
Comfortable in a high-growth startup, can balance many simultaneous projects, and thrive in fast-paced environments
