Location: Remote (Southeast U.S.)

The UX Designer Contractor will manage and support a team of user experience professionals through gathering research, concepting user flows, wireframes, design, and conducting usability testing within an eCommerce space.

This hands-on position combines passion for crafting user-centered solutions to deliver the best user experience for Purchasing Power customers. The UX Designer Contractor will represent the eCommerce team in customer experience discussions across the enterprise and be able to strategize, make design decisions and translate user-experience journey flows into a smooth and intuitive interaction focused on customer engagement and conversions.

The Experience You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 2-3 years of work experience in the retail eCommerce or interactive space as a UX/UI designer or related role with focus mobile first design
• Proven understanding of eCommerce, mobile, and digital retail best-practices
• Experience producing documentation including, but not exclusive to concepts, user flows, design comps, visual specs, web standards, and guidelines
• An eye for best-in-class UI and an understanding of how to build and manage a design within an enterprise CMS platform
• Expert communication skills (storytelling, visualization) and the ability to get buy-in on those ideas through an organization
• A solid design portfolio of work demonstrating a core UX/UI experience that demonstrate a body of skills across a variety of project types (e.g. discovery, user journeys , wireframes, design, and usability testing) is required
• Proficient with a variety of design and prototyping tools such as Figma
