Junior Sound Mixer - 12 Month FTC

Your team:
TalkTV are thrilled to be looking to hire a junior sound mixer to join the ever expanding audio department.

Your role: 
This role is designed to be an entry level sound mixing position aimed at graduates of the field, however despite being a junior role the salary is competitive. We are looking for somebody that is open to working early morning shifts.

Day to day you will:

• Become fully trained to mix and operate a broadcast mixing desk
• Gain a technical knowledge of an audio setup; mixing desks, TalkBack communication and audio playback
• Work as part of the wider Gallery, studio and production team to achieve the highest possible level of broadcast output.

What we’re looking for from you:

• To have a passion for broadcast audio
• Preferable to have trained and studied in broadcast audio
• Have an understanding of the parameters of Audio; Gain structure, EQ and Dynamics
• The motivation, ability and focus to grow into the position required to solo mix during an early morning shift
