ParentPay Group is the European EdTech market leader in MIS, cashless school payments, school meals management and communications software. Across our Group, we help more than 20,000 schools effectively manage their data, save administration time, and reduce costs whilst enabling millions of parents to communicate with their school, remaining engaged in their children’s education.

We are currently looking for a FTC Product Manager for 6 months to join us on our journey as we continue to develop the next generation of our cloud based MIS platform.

Please note this is a remote position with occasional travel required.

Working as part of an autonomous cross functional team you’ll have strategic ownership of the full cycle of product management, from opportunity assessment, ideation, through delivery and ongoing product management.

You will be responsible for the customer and business outcomes in your domain and focus on building a product that meets users and market needs by ensuring that we progress in an outcome-oriented, data-informed and lean manner to create a product offering that customers love.

Your immediate focus will be on our Payments & Parental Engagement products, creating iterative improvements.

To do this, you’ll build a deep understanding of the education market and the customers you are serving including schools, local authorities, technical partners, parents and students whilst acting as the centre-point between product delivery teams and broader functional groups including Sales & Marketing.

Duties include

-Use insights, data, trends, problem-definition and validation to define the vision, product strategy, and intended outcomes for your product/service, demonstrating alignment to the wider portfolio vision and business objectives
-Alongside Product Design, develop a deep understanding of the needs of your users, their needs and pain-points based on market insights, user research and product analytics
-Own and continuously develop an outcome-oriented roadmap and product positioning
-Own value prioritisation, enabling your cross functional team to break down and deliver iteratively for the highest customer and business value
-Build relationships with and influence internal and external stakeholders, understand their needs, effectively managing their expectations and defining a common vision

Key Skills & Experience

-Demonstrable experience in the management and ongoing development of a B2B SaaS product.
-Experience of Product Management within agile, customer-centric, data-informed, quality-obsessed, cross-functional delivery teams.
-Ability to plan, understand and act on quantitative and qualitative research in ways that facilitate solution design, meet business objectives and inform technology decisions.
-Proficient at using data driven insights to ensure that value proposition and hypotheses are actually achieving user and business outcomes.
-Adept at developing a strong product strategy and outcome-oriented roadmap focusing on lean slices of value and able to prioritise in order to deliver the maximum value in the minimum amount of time.
-Strong stakeholder management, engaging and building relationships across the business and clearly articulating and communicating your product vision to a diverse range of business users from senior management level to engineering, customer success and beyond.
-Ability to create a product business strategy working with external stakeholders including Marketing and Sales and Support to bring a new value proposition to customers.
-Excellent presentation and story-telling skills with proven ability to influence and drive alignment across an organisation.
