We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Art Director to drive the overall delivery of all art content for our product. As the Art Director, you will be responsible for aligning the product on overall visual style and direction and ensuring consistent delivery across both in-house individual contributors (ICs) and outsourcing studios. You will oversee the development of a wide range of art content, including 3D assets, sound, characters, environment, visual effects, art shaders, modeling, concept, and storyboarding.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in art or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in art direction, including experience leading and guiding art teams
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of art styles and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Lead the art team in the development and delivery of high-quality art content for our product.
• Manage and mentor a team of art ICs, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. product, design, engineering) to ensure that art efforts are aligned with business and user requirements
• Identify and resolve technical roadblocks and bottlenecks in the development process.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the quality of the art content.
• Ensure that all art assets are delivered on time and within budget.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in art and design technologies.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
