Mediagistic is a rapidly growing national marketing agency primarily focused on the home services industry. We are looking for an intermediate to advanced web designer with some coding skills to join our team in Tampa. Please be prepared to share a portfolio of your web design work and or sites of which you have contributed to. We are currently in a 3:2 office/home hybrid work model and are looking for someone to join us in our Tampa office (near USF).

This is a contract, 1099, position to start.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should have:

• 3+ years of web design or related development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins.
• Thorough understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of common web design tools and frameworks such as SCSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• At least 1 year of experience in PHP.
• Familiarity with Git.

The experience with the following skills are not required, but would be considered an added advantage:

• Python
• Automation systems(Zapier, IFTTT, etc.)
• Advanced Custom Fields
• WPEngine

Responsibilities:

• Receive daily tasks from our production software including building websites, adjusting content or design, and developing new sites/tech for our agency’s needs.
• Document the day’s work and submit a daily timesheet.

Work Environment:

We are in the Tampa area near USF and are currently in a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two work-from-home days.
