Camp Lovejoy, which is a Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady summer day camp program, is looking for an individual who is organized, passionate, enthusiastic, and enjoys working with children. The Video Production Instructor will plan and implement a program that will teach youth the general filming, editing, and video production technology to create a movie or short clip.

Camp Lovejoy is located in the beautiful Helderberg Mountains of Altamont.

The camp season runs from June 26th 2023 till Aug 11th 2023.

There will be a mandatory paid training prior to camp that all personnel must attend.

_D_aily tasks include:

• Running a VP program that will engage and teach youth hands on Video production skills
• Working with youth to develop storyboards, script writing, and train on how to use equipment properly
• Creating and implementing age appropriate lesson plans.
• Directing personnel.
• Maintaining facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Providing youth feedback and guidance

Qualifications:

• Have experience in the related field.
• Experience working with Green screens and video production technology
• Ability to provide a safe, fun, and creative environment for youth.
• Have the ability to communicate positively with diverse age groups.
• Experience working with youth preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
