Content Marketing Manager, Petcare- Hybrid

Description
The Content Marketing Manager plays a key role in the Data, Digital, and Growth teams.
- They will support the execution of Petcare content for the veterinary healthcare team audience under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Content Marketing & SEO.
- He/she must be highly collaborative, detail-oriented, a good writer, a self-starter, and a creative problem solver.
Main duties will include:
Coordinate and track the creative review process for marketing materials. Initiate, track, and oversee copy and creative review process through our content management platform.
- The Content Marketing Manager will work across marketing, veterinary operations, legal, and regulatory teams to deliver creative reviews on time.
- Assist with writing creative briefs and providing direction to agencies and freelancers.
- Manage multiple rounds of edits while keeping style guidelines top of mind.
- Project manage the editorial calendar.
- Actively manage a robust editorial calendar (including articles, videos, videos, tools, and website content) with multiple stakeholders using Asana.
- Ensure items are on track to publish and hold others accountable for timelines.
- The Content Marketing Manager will create, edit, and source content.
- Edit and rewrite content to ensure it follows brand style guidelines, is optimized for search engines, and reflects content marketing best practices.
- The Content Marketing Manager will source stock photos and UGC for content.
- Repurpose content into other formats (web, print, video).
- Write short-form content as needed to accompany existing assets.
- Reporting and analytics. Perform monthly tracking for key programs and metrics.
- Update presentations and spreadsheets as needed with current data and insights.
- Take a highly proactive approach in recommending and implementing tactics for continuous improvements.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- 5-7 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in content marketing or digital marketing
- Previous experience in the animal health industry a plus (in-house or agency)
- Basic SEO experience (keyword research, SEO copywriting)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A passion for results and the ability to quickly adapt to change
- Up to date on content marketing trends and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint), Asana (or other task management platforms), and Adobe Photoshop.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and content management systems
**Note:**40 hours/week, hybrid role in Parsippany, NJ (remote considered – must be willing to travel in for mandatory meetings ~5x/year
