Job Summary:

The Production & Creative Coordinator position exists to cohesively coordinate all Marketing & Communications projects related to digital and print graphics, promotional items, and event visuals. This position creates original print and digital content or manages the design process with freelance designers for specific projects.

Job Description:

• Design, manage and track delivery of all orders for central office as it relates to apparel, promotional items, and bulk print jobs.
• Create or update designs for various 4KIDS projects including, invitations, flyers, website images, and more.
• When not creating original graphic design, responsible for pitching and coordinating jobs to freelance designers as approved by the Director of Marketing and Communications
• Maintain good relationships with all freelancers throughout the year, leveraging the best freelancer based on each unique need
• Maintain good relationships with all print vendors throughout the year and negotiate competitive pricing
• Ensure all projects requested across the departments are completed as specified and on-time
• Work with Director of Marketing and Communications to develop innovative and creative visual campaigns for fundraising and increased community engagement (i.e. foster parent recruitment, volunteer recruitment, prospective employees, EPIC Training attendees, etc.)
• Maintain generic 4KIDS marketing material inventory and re-order as necessary
• Organize and maintain assets within Canva platform and train other employees in the platform as needed.
• Archive completed jobs with appropriate assets on server
• Assist in providing artistic direction to photo/video freelancers and marketing consultants assigned to special projects
• Displays and monitors sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
• Participates in ongoing Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) activities, as needed.
• Provides consultation to 4KIDS Expansion and Properties team as it relates to office design and visual elements.
• At a minimum on a daily basis, reviews and responds professionally to internal/external email communication(s).
• Maintains highest ethical standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Specification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field
• Project Management
• Working knowledge, understanding, and interest in photography, video, advertising creative, and various marketing communication channels
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to easily build rapport with others
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Highly detail-oriented and extensive review process for each piece
• Able to prioritize daily work efficiently
• Knowledge of printing production processes
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• General computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in Canva, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to express professional creativity
• Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy
• Two years production experience
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation that can be utilized as needed
• Must successfully complete initial drug screening
• Must successfully complete initial and annual background screenings
