Work Schedule: Part-time. About 30 hours per month

This is a part time, freelance role with a flexible schedule -

The client’s expectation is for this writer to work on 3-4 articles per month, logging up to 10 hours per 500-700 word article. This includes research, meeting with SMEs, and writing. Typical turnaround time for an article is approx 2 weeks.

They are looking for someone skilled at conducting research, interviewing SMEs, and distilling complex information into easy to understand long form articles. Healthcare, wellness, mental health, chronic disease, or fertility writing experience is required.

Content Writer

Responsibilities:

• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) that span across multiple products and services to proactively develop new content
• Conduct research on relevant health care industry trends, as needed
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed
• Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with SMEs and other relevant business unit stakeholders

Experience:

• 3-5 years professional writing experience with a solid portfolio of work
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills
• Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
• Ability to distill complex concepts and language into content that is easily understood
• Ability to change direction quickly and comfortably and handle uncertainty/make decisions when information is not available
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to foster collaboration and value other perspective
• Strong attention to detail

Ideal Candidate:

• Health care industry experience is a plus
• Experience with AP Style is a plus
• Content marketing experience

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $26 - $30 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match.
