The Maintenance Painter is responsible for applying paints, sealers, caulking, stain, tape, and mud to interior and exterior surfaces. They will also perform surface preparation, finish work, and ensure the proper care of vehicles, equipment, tools, and materials. Additional duties include record-keeping, material receipts, paint schedules, and communication with the supervisor or designee.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply paints, sealers, caulking, stain, tape, and mud to interior and exterior surfaces
• Sand, scrape, caulk, and prepare surfaces for paint or stain
• Perform finish work on rough or unfinished surfaces
• Ensure proper care of vehicles, equipment, tools, and materials
• Maintain written records, material receipts, sketches, and paint schedules
• Communicate with supervisor or designee
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License
• Ability to climb ladders and lift, pull, or push objects up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work around exposure to fumes, smoke, dust, and extreme temperatures
