Location : Redmond, WA

Contract : Contractor

Responsibilities:

• Create real-time character animations for client’s games
• Use motion capture data and clean up animations
• Implement animations into game systems
• Have an understanding of grounded, realistic human movement
• Adapt principles of animation to create believable characters and experiences
• Work with 3D animation packages, Maya and MotionBuilder preferred
• Have industry knowledge of character, animation, and motion capture pipelines
• Analyze animation and movement from other media
• May require working with other animation systems like Granny 3D

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience
• 3+ years of Maya experience
• 2+ years of experience cleaning up motion capture animation
• 1+ years of previous experience implementing animation into a game system
• Experience working with motion capture data, experience with OptiTrack/Motive a plus
• A demo reel demonstrating an understanding of grounded, realistic human movement
• Strong understanding of the principles of animation
• Strong knowledge of one or more 3D animation packages
• Enthusiasm for studying and analyzing animation and movement from other media
• Experience with 3DSMax a plus
• Experience with Granny 3D animation system a plus
