Job Description

An internationally-recognized swim camp headquartered in Central Florida is searching for a reliable photographer/videographer for 6 weeks this summer. 3 weeks are in Clermont, Florida, and 3 weeks are in different cities around the country. Travel and lodging will be covered. A 1-day training session will be scheduled before the start date. Here are the dates and locations:

July 31-Aug. 4 Clermont, FL

Aug. 14-18 Boston, MA

Aug. 21-25 Westchester, NY

Responsibilities

We use a unique tablet workflow to film swimmers underwater, play the videos back for swimmers and coaches, film the coaches’ reviews, and edit and upload to our Vimeo account. In addition to these videos, you will also capture photo and video of swimmers in and out of the pool to help tell the story of their week at camp. Here is your opportunity to:

• Film and photograph swimmers above and below water and at after-camp activities.
• Have daily meals covered.
• Work with a talented and fun group of people.
• Develop skills that will last a lifetime and look great on a resume.

Required Skills/Experience

Film/video skills

Still photography skills

Video editing experience

Your own SLR or mirrorless camera and lenses

Ability to work under pressure with deadlines

Ability to work up to 10 hours per day

Physically fit (able to bend, carry 30 lbs., and stand/walk for hours at a time)

Positive, enthusiastic, friendly, upbeat demeanor

Professional and courteous customer service skills

Self-motivated, disciplined, and strong organizational skills

Willingness to be a team player and pitch-in as needed

Desired Skills/Experience

Familiarity with shooting and editing on a tablet (iPad or Samsung)

Optional skills/experience:

Working with youth ages 8-18 years (background check required)

Working at a summer camp

Swimming experience

Travel experience

Sports photography
