Job Description

The global Expedia Media Studio team helps develop and execute brand marketing partnerships across TV, Digital, Mobile and Offline media platforms. We are looking for an innovative and experienced Video Editor to build compelling digital branded content for our brands & partners!

Responsibilities

• Preparing and troubleshooting projects for distribution, including legal and technical standards/requirements
• Create eye-catching and compelling content for our platforms - from the assembly and visual storyboarding, through to final delivery and archive, e.g. trailers, sizzle reels, topical/episodic content, brand-led content, long and short-form partner content, BTS, custom shoot creative, etc.
• Develop imaginative and creative concepts into compelling and effective content/films
• Work alongside our teams (across all timezones) to help create and deliver outstanding films
• Create and manage your own Post-Production schedule & processes
• Ensure all output is optimised for social, digital & broadcast channels (whilst sharing best practice with the wider team)
• Implement new ideas with the team to develop innovative solutions
• Review and evaluate edits and oversee their finishing
• Innovate around new edit styles for content
• Work with the team to develop new workflows that streamline processes and drive efficiencies

Skills

• Focused expertise and passion for digital
• Experience in the creation of branded content to support marketing campaigns (publisher, broadcaster, brand or agency)
• Experience with travel content and vertical preferable
• Proven interest in what branded content can do in online environments, with a strong storytelling sensibility
• Proven interest in experimenting with new story formats and a commitment to finding new ways to approach the conventional forms of visual storytelling
• Cohesively and efficiently worked within a creative team, collaborate with different departments, and take direction well
• Organized, proactive, and highly motivated, with attention to detail in carrying out sophisticated projects and time-sensitive elements
• A global approach and multicultural understanding in order to create relatable and diverse content
• You are able to build content quickly and to a high standard

Salary: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
