Job Description
St. Anthony Catholic Parish is looking for a part-time Music Director. The Music Director will work collaboratively with Father Pascal to coordinate music for weekend and holy day masses as well as other parish liturgical celebrations and funerals.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of choir
- Arrange rehearsals
- Invite choir members
- Schedule cantors
- Share in liturgical planning process
- Assist with copyright issues and reporting
Requirements
- Knowledge of structure and spirit of Catholic liturgy
- Attend some liturgical celebrations
- Practicing Roman Catholic
- Willing to uphold teachings of Catholic Church
- Unbiased toward Roman Catholic Church
- Willing to work cooperatively in its endeavors
Working hours
8 to 12 hours per week
Compensation
Hourly and dependent on experience and level of responsibilities assumed.
