Production Associate for E-Commerce Business

Overview:

• Part-time, remote work with flexible hours!
• We are seeking a highly motivated Production Associate to join our team and help our company, Capital City Commerce, become a top-tier e-commerce business.
• In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality products for end consumers.
• We are seeking an individual who is eager to learn about our production process and is able to work through large customer orders efficiently a remote basis.

Background:

• Capital City Commerce began in 2014 as a small e-commerce company that offered novelty household items.
• We recently invested in state-of-the-art equipment and technology that allow us to offer a much wider variety of products, and because of this we are very excited to scale the business to new levels in 2023.
• To help us achieve this level of growth, we need someone who is willing to be flexible and learn new production techniques to streamline our process as much as possible.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Ability to pick up supplies and materials in Arlington, VA multiple times per week. In many cases it will be a morning pick up.
• Ability to drop off packages at USPS and UPS.
• Must have a smoke-free working environment due to apparel products being made.
• Ability to video chat with business owner through FaceTime, Zoom, or another means.
• Must be comfortable operating a heat press – a simple heat press will be provided at first that is similar to a handheld iron and then after a training period the business will evaluate upgrading to a commercial heat press that can rest on a sturdy table or counter.
• Patience and persistence to complete sometimes tedious tasks over and over again each day.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
