Pay Rate:

$55.00 - $63.00 per hour (W2 Only)

HYBRID ROLE:

(Must be local or live within 80 miles of Hartford, CT) 2 days onsite per week

SHIFT:

Full-Time 40hrs - Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Deployments, support and ongoing maintenance and management of a VMware Virtual infrastructure.
• Provide implementation, maintenance and support for Windows Servers and Clusters
• Support Veeam, HP Blades and Storage as well as other Applications and Systems.
• Work with management, business users, systems developers, and operations to clarify project scope; review documented forms, processes, and data models; develop prototype systems and processes.
• Implement agreed-upon systems, support and maintain existing solutions.
• Participate in the deployment and maintenance of business systems.
• Provide core infrastructure design, installation, and support.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 5+ years of prior experience demonstrating the following knowledge and skills:
• Understands VMware and Virtual Environments.
• Understands Network and Data management methodologies.
• Expertise working closely with application developers and business users to provide reliable systems.
• Expertise with the implementation and support of virtual systems and storage area networks.
• Support production, staging, and development environments to meet agency needs, including Patching and Backups.
• Knows how to optimize and Troubleshoot Windows operating systems supporting Dynamics, BizTalk and SharePoint servers and related network hardware and software.
• Provide support to developers and/or testers to resolve technical problems with data and systems.
• Experience in supporting SQL Server and .NET applications.
• Knowledge of information security best practices and implementation.
• Assist with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
• Assist with IT security.
• Develop and provide administrative oversight for agency SharePoint environment.
• Knowledge of Tracing, Monitoring, and Auditing systems.
• Understands Information Technology Operations Administration, ITIL and Microsoft Operations Framework.
• Develop and Implement agency ITIL processes and systems.

Desired (Highly Preferred) Skills:

• Experience with code control/version/build tools e.g Azure DevOps
• Experience with AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, and Power BI
• Experience with Azure Blob and Azure Cognitive Services
• Experience with unit testing frameworks e.g Nunit
• Experience with XRM Toolkit
• Experience with Integrating with REST/SOAP API’s and using Postman
• Experience with ASP.NET
• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks e.g jQuery, Ext, React
• Education: BS in Computer science, engineering, or technology
