Client: TRIPP NYC

Location: North Bergen, NJ

Contract: Temporary, Part-time, Full-time

Fashion brand looking for a technical / assistant designer.

Must be able to commute 4 days/week to workroom located in North Bergen, NJ.

Position is 4 days/week.

Responsibilities:

-Create technical flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator

-Create detailed tech packs

-Attend fittings and review samples

-Make technical corrections and comments for samples

Requirements:

-2+ years of technical design experience in fashion apparel

-Must be excellent in technical flat sketch with Adobe Illustrator

-Must be able to create detailed tech packs

-Must be highly proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft excel

-Must understand garment construction and able to communicate and write technical detail corrections and comments

-Must have knowledge of grading specs and grad rules

-Must be well organized and detail oriented

-Must have strong communication skills

-Must be able to multi-task in a faced paced environment

-Must be able to commute to workroom in North Bergen, NJ

4 days per week, Mon-Thurs at $24-27/hr (depending on experience)

Paid overtime + benefits

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
