Qualifications
- Proficient in video editing, using Adobe Creative Suite products
- At least 1-2 years of post-production experience
- Deep understanding of social media culture and how to create timely content
- Is creative and well ingrained in short-form video content culture and can come up with ideas and edits for platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook that will reach a wide range of audiences
- Organized, communicative and able to receive and provide feedback in a professional and constructive manner
- Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder
- Technical knowledge of camera formats and video codecs
- A creative problem solver who can troubleshoot technical and editorial issues
- Knowledge of Health and Beauty Products a plus
- Spanish Speaking a plus but not necessary
Responsibilities
- This role will also work to ensure that every video created supports our brand voice and meets our exceptional standards
- You must be able to manage multiple projects at various stages of production simultaneously, stay organized, be open to feedback and collaboration, and have the ability to self-prioritize.
- Assemble footage into rough, fine, and final cuts while maintaining professional standards
- Add music, sfx, dialogue, visual effects, and graphics to increase the quality of each video
- Receive and implement notes from producers and clients
- Organize workload, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task
- Quality check videos and deliverables to ensure all assets meet standards, appropriate specs, and are ready for upload and archive
- Report any issues that might impact progress or quality
- Actively contribute ideas to improve post production processes and workflows
- Stay up-to-date on new editing techniques, tools, as well as troubleshoot and identify technical issues as they arise
- Work as a team on complex and large-scale projects as they arise
This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a good portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely if warranted.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
