MarathonFoto is a leading sports photography company that photographs athletes around the world including at the marathon majors in Boston, Chicago, and New York. The participants can view and purchase their race photos on www.marathonfoto.com.

Job Description

MarathonFoto will be the official photographer of the Peachtree Road Race on July 4th. This is the largest 10k in the country and are looking for photographers to complete our team. The goal is to take good quality photographs of as many participants as possible.

Photography Positions Available

· Posed photos of runners right before they start the race - need to be outgoing and ready to approach strangers, have great communications skills to engage with athletes

· Action photography of runners on the course while they run - experience in sports photography or event photography is necessary

· Posed photos/portrait style photo of runners with their medals after they crossed the finish line– need to be outgoing and ready to approach strangers, have great communications skills to engage with athletes.

- No selling or post-production editing is required.

We Provide:

• Media like SD/CF/XQD and collect them at the end of the event to avoid any issue with transferring the images.
• Clear guidelines of the type of photos you will be taking. Your team leader will assist you throughout the race.

Pay

We guarantee $30/hour and based on quality and number of photos taken this can increase.

Time Commitment

From 4:45am to 9:30am OR from 6am to 11am depending on the location you will be assigned to. Yes, we start early but it will be a unique and rewarding experience!

This is an event-based job.

Requirements

- Photography equipment

- The ability to work quickly, efficiently, react quickly, and make good decisions while multi-tasking at a very fast pace.

- To be outgoing and ready to approach strangers. Great communications skills to engage with athletes.

- The ability to stand, move quickly and hold the camera for the duration of the event. Events are outdoors and in the elements. Photographers must be willing and able to work in these conditions.

- The ability to adhere to a schedule, arrive on time for events, stay for the duration of events, and have reliable transportation.

- Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the USA.
