Job Description:

The Blavity Family is seeking a top performing Freelance Project Coordinator to join our organization! You will work closely with the producers and post production team coordinating long and short form video content.

What You’ll Do at Blavity:

• Manage the creation of video production schedules, and timeline maintenance throughout the program lifecycle and ensuring all internal creative approvals are given on time
• Prep video assets for launch across multiple platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Blavity.com
• Creatively problem-solve and coordinate internal communication between Sales/Creative teams throughout cycle of a program
• Collaborate with senior level producers to ensure quality assurance, then give the final sign-off before final video is uploaded and approve videos for publishing based on style guides
• Implement proper final review of videos between multiple teams, responsible for giving technical notes (avoiding audio peaking, flash frames, etc. before video is packaged) for all videos
• Establish and manage closed captioning protocols and coordinate captioning for all videos with Rev.com
• Manage and troubleshoot all incoming and established account requests for music licensing

What You Have:

• Excellent communication, positive attitude for a variety of different projects
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite as well as 3rd party software
• Experience using project management software (Asana)
• 3+ years experience working in a fast paced professional environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Communication or related field
• Ability to follow workflow guidelines and naming conventions
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast paced production environment and adapt to change
• Knowledgeable of social media and digital video platforms
