We are seeking a skilled and creative Part-Time Design Specialist to join our team. As a Design Specialist, you will be instrumental in shaping our visual identity and creating captivating and interactive design solutions. This is a remote position with flexible working hours, and there is potential for it to transition into a full-time role as our business expands.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to conceive and produce visually appealing designs for various digital platforms, such as websites, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
- Utilize your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to craft high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts.
- Customize and design WordPress websites, ensuring an intuitive user experience and visually striking interfaces.
- Utilize Figma or similar prototyping tools to create interactive and user-friendly prototypes, facilitating effective feedback and iterative design processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in design, web development, and user experience to ensure our designs remain innovative and competitive.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and uphold high standards of quality and creativity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a freelance or part-time designer, supported by an impressive portfolio of digital design projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. After Effects and Premiere are a plus.
- Strong understanding of WordPress, including theme customization and plugin integration.
- Familiarity with Figma or similar prototyping tools to create interactive and user-friendly designs.
- Solid grasp of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality work.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, managing time and priorities efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines.
