Duties

Visual Information Specialist provides full design services in all phases of exhibition development from planning and conceptual development to design, detailing, and fabrication/installation involving work in the three principal aspects of design (i.e., architectural, technical, and graphic design).

In this position, you will:

• Plan and develop the total visual aspects of a museum exhibition.
• Plan construction methods for three-dimensional exhibitions that meet all federal accessibility, safety, security and conservation standards.
• Use computer applications to communicate design intentions to client, colleagues and project team.
• Participate in a team environment to design and implement a museum exhibition.
• Manage multiple projects while adhering to required deadlines.
