Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Maker to join our team and contribute to our YouTube channel’s success. As a Video Maker, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and attracts and retains viewers. You will have the opportunity to showcase your talent and expertise in video production while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Content Creation: Plan, script, shoot, and edit compelling videos for our YouTube channel. This includes a wide range of video types, such as tutorials, vlogs, product reviews, interviews, animations, and promotional videos.
• Video Editing: Utilize video editing software and tools to assemble raw footage into polished videos that are visually appealing, well-paced, and incorporate appropriate transitions, effects, music, and graphics.
• Storytelling and Scriptwriting: Develop captivating storylines and write engaging scripts that effectively communicate the desired message or information while keeping the target audience in mind.
• Research and Trends: Stay up to date with current video production trends, best practices, and YouTube algorithm updates to ensure our content remains relevant, engaging, and optimized for maximum reach and visibility.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the content team, including graphic designers, animators, and social media specialists, to develop cohesive and cross-platform content strategies. Collaborate with subject matter experts, influencers, and other team members to incorporate their input and expertise into video projects.
• Channel Optimization: Implement SEO strategies and techniques to optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and closed captions to improve search rankings, increase views, and drive traffic to our YouTube channel.
• Analytics and Insights: Monitor and analyze video performance metrics, including views, watch time, audience retention, and engagement rates. Use this data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the effectiveness of future video content.
• Equipment and Production: Manage and maintain video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing software, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the quality standards expected for professional video production.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Maker or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video production skills, creativity, and storytelling abilities.
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Excellent knowledge of video production techniques, including camera operation, lighting, audio recording, and video editing.
• Strong understanding of YouTube as a platform, including its audience, trends, and best practices for optimizing videos.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop unique and engaging video concepts that align with our brand and target audience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate their input into video projects.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• A passion for video production, storytelling, and keeping up with the latest trends and innovations in the field.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for video content optimization is a plus.
