Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a temporary freelance videographer position from August 24 – November 18, with the opportunity to continue after. Primarily helping to film live stream football games across the state of Michigan (Thursday/Friday Nights) that will be airing on Social Media. The videographer is an independent contractor (1099) position.

Education & Work Experience:

• Preferred certificate or degree in the television field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in story telling via videography
• Experience with videotaping live sporting events is a must
• 1-2 years experience with Professional grade cameras (not DSLR or mirrorless)
• Experience with advanced multimedia storytelling techniques on multiple platforms
• Experience with voiceover and on-camera reporting a plus.
• Exceptional core video-journalism skills, including a high command of video, sound, camera, lights, computers and software used to produce visual and audio journalism is required
• Experience of live streaming and a live environment is a plus
• Adobe Creative Suite knowledge and experience is a plus
• This can lead to other opportunities once demonstration of work has been established
