The Challenge

Newsflare Studios, our production arm, use user-generated video to create engaging content and human-interest stories, distributed to social platforms (Facebook, YouTube and Snap), producing hit shows that attract over 200 million monthly views. We are building a world class team to help us capitalize on the success of existing shows like Animal Antics as well as developing and testing formats that will make the hit programmes of the future.

Where You Come In

We are looking for a freelancer ideally based in the UK but we can be flexible, to work with our Studios team to produce and edit compelling, attention grabbing, can’t stop watching video, for our shows across multiple social media platforms.

• Mine the Newsflare UGV vault to discover engaging, internet worthy, advertiser safe video
• Create, execute, and edit content in multiple formats for various platforms, always ensuring deadlines are met
• Optimise video by adding titles, text and metadata for maximum audience engagement
• Identify themes and social crazes trending across social platforms and the Newsflare video vault
• Always work within the community guidelines and best practise for each social platform
• Share suggestions and ideas that will enhance the programming strategies with the aim of building brand awareness and audience engagement.

Experience

• Relevant experience editing video for social media platforms.
• You know your stuff when it comes to the major social media platforms (Facebook, Snap, Tik-Tok, Youtube)
• Confident and skilled using video and photo editing software – Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop
• Happy to work against tight deadlines in a fast paced, geographical dispersed, remote production environment
• Motion graphics experience is a big plus
