Responsibilities:

• Serve as the video production manager on projects and oversee development from script to delivery
• Understand client business and project goals and help to manage projects and client communication from concept to completion
• Oversee the development of projects and manage their progress through the different phases of production and know when to elevate concerns to ensure that support is going to the correct area of the business. This may include planning, scheduling (physical and post-production), budgeting, permits, coordination of crews and equipment, logistics, insurance, voiceovers, scripts, releases, contracts, purchase orders and expense reporting
• Produce quotes and budgets for client projects and new business
• Oversee a rolodex of freelance crews
• Oversee various video productions such as commercials, promos, short documentaries and branded content
• Manage live streaming show productions (a plus but not necessary)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a project manager for 5+ years
• Experience working on micro and mid-tier budget productions i.e. $5,000 - $500,000
• Hands-on experience leading and supporting creative process and teams in pre-production, production and post-production and ability to implement effective workflow and procedures
• Familiarity with contracting, negotiating, scheduling, and managing vendors and crews
• Familiarity with booking freelance production crews and equipment, coordinating travel, permitting, scheduling, handling insurance requirements, production and post-production schedule
• Knowledge of current cameras, lighting, audio, location and remote production equipment
• Knowledge of post-production software such as premiere, photoshop, after effects, etc.
• Outstanding leadership and organization skills; strong interpersonal and analytical abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly collaborative but able to work independently
• Positive attitude and a commitment to company goals
