Contract: Temporary, Part-time, Contract

Beau Decors is seeking a Floral designer with experience in weddings and event decor to be a part our dedicated/creative team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must be able to consistently create exceptional floral designs, proposing new innovative ideas, have a great use of colors, floral materials, vessels and accent materials, while meeting the established standards of Beau decors design styles.
• Must be able to understand our basic Beau Decors design, be able to listen to customers and create flower visions
• Has to be able to create gift, funeral and specialty floral designs
• Must successfully interpret client preferences on custom design orders as well as present ideas on options as needed per customer profile
• Must be knowledgeable of basic flower handling techniques, while consistently meeting required standards of production
• Needs to be able to participate in set up and break down of floral displays as needed from shop to event if needed
• Should oversee the consistent maintenance and refreshment of our flowers and designs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a floral designer, but willing to train the right person with a minimum of 1 year floral experience
• Floral knowledge and arrangement and design experience
• Must be detail oriented, have a good understanding working with fresh flowers
• Must be able to work with floral assistant in setting up floral displays to produce high-end quality floral arrangements.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be self motivated, knowledgeable, interactive and driven to produce
• Must be able to work on call or as needed as we are a busy event planning business and there are always opportunities for floral business.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or transportation to and from locations as needed

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
