UI/UX Designer
Kelly® Technology is seeking a UI/UX Designer for a 12 month contract position at a Fortune 500 client in Southfield, MI. Manager prefers for candidate to be within a commutable distance to Southfield to work a hybrid work schedule. Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- Open rate + Kelly Services’ W2 plus full benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Developing user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for the platform.
- Ensuring that the website design is user-centered, accessible, and visually appealing.
- Conducting user research to understand the needs and pain points of our customers.
- Conducting usability testing to validate design solutions and make necessary improvements.
- Serving as a focal point for industry trends and best practices on UX / UI evolution, as it pertains to the platform.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in UX / UI design for web applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction is preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your experience in redesigning websites with a focus on user-centered design.
- Proficiency with Design Thinking and Agile.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable for project management required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify user needs and pain points.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Expertise with UX design principles and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with UX / UI principles with respect to digital marketing.
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as AT Internet, Piano Analytics or Google Analytics required.
- Exhibit an architectural mindset toward information and content.
