WordPress Web Designer

Luva Marketing Ltd is a digital marketing consultancy based in Wirral, North West. This is not a remote role and is office based. We have openings in a number of fields and are looking for ambitious: web designers, graphic designers and video editors/videographers to join our small, dynamic and skilled team in our Wirral office. The Junior Website Designer role would suit graduates or recently qualified apprentices who are looking to broaden their skills. This role is largely about front-end design. Proficiency in WordPress is required, along with a keen eye for detail and a natural talent for design, coupled with a fundamental understanding of design principles. As a rapidly expanding company, we are in need of a passionate, motivated, and ambitious individual to join our talented team.

The successful candidate will have:

• A creative portfolio to demonstrate their front-end web design capabilities
• A good understanding of UX principles
• Experience/Knowledge of working with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify. We use Elementor for WP sites
• Great attention to detail
• Experience in snagging, cross-platform testing, content application and bug finding
• Ability to manage their own projects and accounts
• Efficient in working with responsive designs

Additional benefits would include:

• Proficiency in working with Adobe Creative Cloud software to produce stunning website designs (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator)

The main responsibilities of the role are:

• Developing creative, dynamic and innovative design concepts that surpass our client’s expectations
• Ensure your work is of the highest quality and pushes creative boundaries
• Work with our team to create future-proof websites
• Collaborate directly with our wider creative and digital team
• Managing your own time and dealing with the pressures of tight deadlines
• Full training will be provided

Salary:

From £17,000-£22,000 (depending on level of experience)
